Our company culture

Our company development is based on the knowledge and character of our employees and aims to achieve the highest level of competence by people for people. "Advising people" means joining forces to think about what will help the customer now and in the future. The competence of each and every member of staff in his or her own specialist field stands to reason. Based on ten years of close cooperation with our customers, we are convinced that projects will only be successful if there is a trusting communication base between the customers and within the BTC team.

The BTC's basic principles - trust, moving forward and looking ahead - are the key to success for the customers and BTC.
Trust
Trust cannot be ordered, it has to develop. It is founded on respect, a partnership approach and the ability to learn. Its tools are pronounced business and technical expertise. Some of its extras include creativeness and the self-responsible actions of the staff. All members of staff, be it clerks or a member of the board, are on first name terms to encourage good collegial relationships at BTC. During the project, we look at the situation through the customer's eyes and combine this with our knowledge and experience. The customer-specific solutions, which a company needs and which generate a clear quantifiable benefit, are developed using proven products. In this way we develop very longstanding relationships to our customers.
Moving forward
Anyone who knows sectors and processes has the ability to also recognise their optimisation potential. For this reason, continuous staff training is one of BTC's principles. We enjoy facing new situations and continuously further develop products and services. We move forward with our customers in the market. For example: the tree wholesaler BRUNS has become the market leader in Europe with a customised BTC solution. But we do not just promote innovation at all costs. Sometimes an adapted standard solution that produces a high level of success is what is needed to move forward.
Looking ahead
We don't just look at the short to medium-term success, we also look at tomorrow's challenges. We observe the market, the technologies and the social and economic development and implement our knowledge in the specific projects. Our solutions ensure that companies remain on the ball regardless of whether there is a technical paradigm shift or statutory changes. The BTC wind farm controller that secures the feed-in tariff for wind farm operators is an example of this. We encourage dialogues with employees, customers, scientific and political circles so that we can co-design and become a part of the economic and social development.
