Corporate Governance

BTC has a holistic, industry-oriented IT consulting offering and thus a leading position in the fields of energy, telecommunications, public sector, industry and services. The offer includes consulting, system integration as well as application and system management. Another focus is on energy-related software products.

On this page we would like to introduce our management board.

Our corporate governance

Dr. Jörg Ritter
Dr. Jörg Ritter studied computer science at the University of Oldenburg. He then worked as a software engineer and division manager at IDS Prof. Scheer GmbH in Saarbrücken. From 1995 he was a research assistant at the Oldenburg IT institute OFFIS. In 2000 he received his doctorate in the field of computer science. Until 2004, Dr. Ritter participated in the development of the research-oriented OSC-IM Systems AG, which was acquired by BTC Business Technology Consulting AG in mid-2004. Dr. Ritter has been on the BTC board since 2005. He is responsible for sales and corporate development.
Percy Hamer
Percy Hamer was born in Bremen in 1969 and completed his degree in computer science in 1993 at the University of Bremen. He started his professional career at Stadtwerke Bremen AG as a project manager for new technologies and strategies. In 1998 he switched to CA Computer Associates, where he established the IT Consulting division for Germany and Austria. For CTS Eventim AG from 2003 he was responsible for IT services in the customer business as well as for the FIFA Football World Cup 2006. From 2006 he took over responsibility for IT infrastructure services and established the global cooperation at Logica Germany. As CIO Europe and General Manager at Konica Minolta, he consolidated IT on a European level from 2013. As BTC board member, Percy Hamer has been responsible for operational business and central functions since 2020.

Supervisory board

Wolfgang Mücher – Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Wolfgang Mücher has been a member of the Board of Management of EWE AG since 1 March 2016. After studying in Munich, he initially held various positions at the Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank based there. In 1999 he moved to the Horstmann Group in Bielefeld as Managing Director. In 2001 he moved to Edeka Minden-Hannover, based in Minden, where he initially served as Commercial Director of the Group subsidiary Otto Reichelt AG in Berlin. In 2006, Mücher was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Edeka Minden-Hannover Group and was responsible for the department until May 2015. Most recently, Mücher advised companies on strategic and commercial issues for the Munich-based company Demps & Partner.
Dr. Christian Pundt - Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Pundt (*1973) is the main administrative officer and district administrator of Oldenburg. Other activities include a member of the board of directors of the LZO, board member of a non-profit company (Gemeinnützige Werkstätten) in Oldenburg, board member of the Oldenburg East Frisian Water Association and chairman of the municipal supply fund in Oldenburg.
Before that, Dr. Pundt worked as mayor of the municipality of Hatten and district chairman of the Lower Saxony Association of Towns and Municipalities. Dr. Pundt lives with his family in Sandhatten. District Administrator Pundt is particularly committed to the topics of digitization, sustainability and climate protection.
Detlef Roß
Mr. Detlef Roß (*1959) is an electrician and owner of the "Licht Kontor", a specialized company for lighting, building system technology, electrical installation and security technology. He lives in Delmenhorst and is the chairman of the Delmenhorst South branch of the SPD.

Mr. Roß has been a member of the Delmenhorst City Council since 2006. On the Council, his current roles are Vice-Member of the Management Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Planning Committee and Chairperson of the Environment Committee.

In 2011, Mr. Roß was elected chairman of the Delmenhorst Fishing Club with around 1,000 members.
Assunta Hamm
Assunta Hamm (*1965) has a degree in business administration and has been employed as a management consultant at BTC AG since 2007. After completing her education, she worked in various companies, most recently for 9 years as a SAP consultant and department head at Schüco International in Bielefeld. Ms Hamm is a company works council member of BTC AG, a member of the Munster site works council and is also active in various works council committees.
Thomas Walter
Thomas Walter (*1965) has a degree in economics and was an employee and managing director of a trading company from 1995 to 1998. In 1998 he started working as an SAP consultant. Since 2000, Mr Walter has been employed at BTC AG as a consultant in various fields of activity. After holding the position of Deputy Chairman of the Works Council since 2004, he was elected Chairman of the Works Council in 2013. In 2014, he was also elected Chairman of the Group Works Council.
Ingo Schwarz
Ingo Schwarz is a retired police officer.
